I was born in Waycross, Georgia. I attended Emerson Park Elementary and Ware County High School and am a graduate of the Class of 1975. I graduated from Valdosta State College.
I have one daughter, Joy, and am grandpa to her Kirk and Jon Tyler. I am married to Eleanor who also has 3 children. We have 4 grandkids who are under 4 years old!
I now live in Hazlehurst, attend First United Methodist Church , teach the Friendship Sunday School class.
I help the local animal shelter by maintaining their website.
